Jeans for Genes (J4G) is a charity which fundraises for charities concerned with genetic disorders in children. In 2002 and 2003, the Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy were one of the guest charities benefiting from the campaign.
Each year the campaign raises money by holding Jeans for Genes day on the first Friday in October. They ask schools and workplaces to take part by allowing their staff and pupils to wear jeans and donate a pound for the privilege.
In 2002, we were honoured when we were asked if Alisha's picture could in the promotional material for this year's Jeans for Genes day - her picture appeared on the JTSMA page on the Jeans for Genes web site in 2002 and 2003.
We hope you took part in the campaigns - helping to raise valuable funds for all the charities, including of course, the JTSMA. If you want to help, visit the Jeans for Genes web site.
